Meet Lula's friends and fellow Good Builders!

SASHA

Sasha is one of Lula's best friends. Sasha’s family comes from Columbia. She moved to Lula’s town when she was seven years old and spoke no English. Lula was Sasha’s first true friend in America. Somehow the two figured out how to communicate through their friendship. By the end of her first year in America, Sasha was able to speak English with no problem.

JIBRAIL

Jibrail has been Lula’s best friend since she can remember. Jibrail’s parents are very good friends with Lula’s parents and both families get together often and even go on vacation together. Jibrail’s background is Indian and his grandparents live with him and his family. 

NAOMI

Naomi is Lula’s cousin. They love each other very much and spend a lot of time together along with their families. Naomi and Lula are very different from each other in many ways, but they get along really well...most of the time.
